easyJet Underseat Cabin Baggage

easyJet allows all passengers to bring one small bag on board free of charge, with maximum dimensions of 45x36x20cm. This bag must fit under the seat in front of you and is included with every ticket regardless of fare type, so there's no need to pay for an upgrade if you can pack within this size.

Our underseat hand luggage collection includes cabin bags and backpacks specifically designed to work within this allowance. Whether you're travelling light for a short break or simply want to avoid the overhead locker queue, these bags are a practical and cost-effective option.

All easyJet passengers can bring one free small cabin bag measuring up to 45x36x20cm. This must fit in the overhead locker or under the seat in front.
The easyJet large cabin bag allowance is 56x45x25cm. This is only included free with Up Front, Extra Legroom, or Flexi fares, or can be purchased as an add-on.
easyJet does not publish a specific weight limit for cabin bags, but bags must be light enough to be lifted into the overhead locker without assistance.

If your bag exceeds the free small bag dimensions and you have not paid for the large cabin bag, it will be placed in the hold and you will be charged a fee at the gate.
easyJet's large cabin bag allowance is 56x45x25cm, so a 55x40x20cm bag falls within those dimensions and would be permitted as your large cabin bag if you have paid for it.
Not as a separate item. easyJet allows only one bag. If you have a handbag, it needs to fit inside your main cabin bag or count as your one allowance.
